At the end of month 1, you and your Mentor determine which program and direction will be the best fit for you. Along the way, programs can be modified and adjusted to meet your personalized goals. Each month thereafter you will work on your chosen projects, observe classes and begin teaching and guiding students in real classrooms.
If you are living in the Denver-Metro area, you will meet regularly with your Mentor face to face and also have meeting times scheduled online. "The work Spencer and I have done together in the area of children's yoga and emotional intelligence has changed the way I teach my children's yoga classes. Spencer has so many years of experience working with all ages of youth and even young adults and beyond. This mentorship went BEYOND my expectations. My children's yoga classes have grown and even my parenting skills have improved. Thank you Melissa for an amazing experience over the last few months. I'll be taking this again year after year." -Katie, children's yoga teacher and mom
“The program helped me re-ignite my passion in teaching mindfulness in schools with youth.” -3rd grade teacher
"My favorite part about Spencer's mentorship is that she allows you to attend all of her classes (adult and children's) and observe, take notes, copy ideas and I got to co-teach the first week! I learned so much and the resources that she provided for me to use after my time with her was over are amazing! I would recommend this mentorship program to anyone wanted to learn anything about yoga." -Vivianne, 500 YTT, soon-to-be children's yoga teacher and mom
"Our team enjoyed having Melissa come out and work with us regarding self-care. Working in the business world and sitting most of my day, I found the mindfulness practices and yoga movements to help increase my blood flow, improve my circulation and improved my focus and clarity." -Google employee
“I LOVED seeing all the different schools who are offering mindfulness and the approaches and variations they are taking.” -mom and teacher
“I found it fascinating to see the depth in which teachers are going with the way you approach your trainings. “ -high school math teacher
“Seeing a professional development was very helpful b/c it allowed me to see that some teachers are ready to take on an embodied mindfulness practice and others are waiting on the sidelines with caution.” -Administrator “Working with Spencer is an affirmation that what I am doing is what needs to be happening in schools!” - PE teacher
