Restorative yoga is a gentle, slow, still style of yoga that involves long, passive holds in a series of 4-6 restful poses. Yogis are supported by props to enhance and deepen their experience and achieve a state of total relaxation and release.
This class includes a combination of therapeutic vibrational sounds that allows energy to release tension and blockages that have built up in the body and mind. By using the harmonies of sound therapy, participants will be guided on a sound journey that is infused with Reiki healing that gently allows the body and mind to restore and replenish from deep within. Sprinkled with guided meditations, nourishing postures, and soothing music, students can begin to heal in the sacred space of love and light. This class can be beneficial for those who are healing the heart, body, and/or mind and from those who struggle with anxiety disorders, chronic stress, high blood pressure, to name a few...
Yogis of all levels will benefit from a nourishing restorative sound healing yoga class. This class is one of the best ways to counter a fast-paced, stressed-out life off the mat. Restorative sound healing yoga helps balance the mind and body, relieve tension and anxiety, improve the immune system, stretch deep fascia, increase flexibility and pave the way for meditation. Come join me every Monday evening in the Sound Garden during warmer months and indoors in my home yoga studio during the cooler months.
