95 Hour - RCYT MODULE 2: Teaching From the space of passion
OVERVIEW & PURPOSE Module 2 of the Peaceful World Yoga Registered Children's Yoga Teacher Training continues to build on the foundation from Module 1 (Developing the Whole Child) and deepens your practice as a children's yoga instructor. This training is a combination of in-class instruction, hands-on mentoring and working directly with real students in schools, students, recreation facilities and a variety of other locations that Peaceful World Yoga is currently serving at the time of enrollment. This training brings the instructor and their passions into the spotlight and no two trainings are ever the same!
In the second Module, trainees will learn how to take a passion that are deeply connected to and teach through the lens of their expertise. What's your passion? Are you an artist? Love photography? A film-maker? Passionate about animal rights? A lover of the Earth? A fantastic cook? Love to garden? Raise farm animals? You name a passion and the instructors at Peaceful World Yoga will guide you to learn to teach from THAT space...YOUR space of passion!
Module two will take Mindfulness to the next level of depth and understanding and teachers begin to development deeper skills in attuning with the students you are working with and begin to embody a presence that children of all ages will be drawn to.
Finding classroom management to be a challenge sometimes? In Module two we will dive deeply into class management skills and broaden our use of effective communication skills (mindful communication) with the students we work with and beyond. Embedded in this course is a mini course on How to Speak Mindfully to Children and Teens. This mini course will help you develop communication skills that will reach far beyond teaching yoga and mindfulness to youth.
All new students to Peaceful World Yoga will start with this Module as the first track towards the full RCYT certification. Once a year the How to Speak Mindfully to Children and Teens will be offered. Please watch our Facebook page and get on our email list to receive updates.
