I have been recently inspired by Mary Jo Binker's new book titled, If You Ask Me, Essential Advice from Eleanor Roosevelt. A time in period when the American people felt as if they could write to the First Lady and knew they would receive advice back in a personalized letter that she herself wrote. What a wonderful moment in history.
Many people are dabbling in the practices of Yoga but being such an enormous subject that has been around for over 4,000 years, where do we begin? In this online forum, I would love to hear from readers of all ages who are interested in pursuing a yoga practice and perhaps even taking a leap to live a yogic lifestyle.
Did you know there are eight limbs of yoga and that they word yoga doesn't even mean poses? The word yoga means "to yoke" and be joined together. The name for yoga poses is called asana. What are the other seven limbs of yoga? This would be a great question to answer in this forum.
Please feel free to ask a question and maybe even join our newsletter for information, recipes, workshops and class offerings, trainings, advice and so much more.
Don't need any more email? Just leave a question on the FB post and then sit back and await the answer!
What a wonderful world we can re-create by coming together in a meaningful way and sharing answers and questions in a safe and trusting environment. No names will be shared and privacy is of the utmost importance.
Hope to get some questions soon!
