300 Self-Transformation Modules & Workshops These workshops aren't just for Yoga Instructors
Empower Your Personal Practice
Would you like to deepen or begin your personal sadhana (practice) in 2019? Peaceful World Yoga is offering up our Inaugural Advanced Self-Transformation Program this January. Our unique Modules and workshops are open to ALL learners and not just for those seeking an Advanced 300 Yoga Teacher Certification. Our modules are set up to stand alone or to take as part of a certification program.
The Empower Module will focus on:
Deepening or creating a personal practice
Advanced learning of each of the 8 Limbs of Yoga (no worries if you are new to yoga)
Koshas
The first three Chakras and advanced healing and learning modalities for YOUR individual needs
Vayus
Mudras
The Digestive system
Ayurveda cooking for Winter Doshas
Finding your Dosha
Advanced breathing techniques
Self-Reflection Journaling and creating art as a form of personal practice
Subtle energies of the Yama and Niyama with Jeremy Wolf
Receive or work towards your Guru Mantra with Irene Landers
In this Module, students will be guided towards empowering their personal yoga practice. By developing a deep, personal practice (that includes all 8 limbs of Yoga), your yoga practice becomes your teacher. While outside teachers can guide and tweak your practice when needed, your personal practice has to take over as your teacher.
In the Empower Module, students will be exposed to a variety of yoga techniques as a continuous and dynamic path of Self-discovery. Students will dive deeper into all Eight Limbs of Yoga by studying the moral and ethical observances of the Yamas and Niyamas as well as learn the asana’s that apply to their specific needs and the needs of their population of students they are guiding. In addition, inspiring seekers will be taught and guided through a variety of pranayama (breathing) techniques and learn to to choose specific pranayamas for general well-being and growth of themselves and their students. Focused concentration (Dharana) and meditation (Dhyana) practices will be taught through a variety of lenses. Once students have been exposed to different techniques of both focused concentration and meditation, aspirants will learn how to choose which pranayama is beneficial for them in their present condition. Once students have learned how to apply different techniques into their own personal practice, they will be able to guide their students to develop their own personal practice as well. Ultimately, when teachers know themselves intimately and can adjust their personal sadhana practice to their daily life, then they will be able to guide more effectively and from a place of blissful truth (Samadhi).
"Without a personal practice, you can never really discover yoga at its deepest level. As a teacher, without a personal practice, you are living and teaching from only twenty-five percent of the knowledge available from yoga. The other 75% of your knowledge of yoga comes from your own personal practice, nowhere else.” -Melissa
